#Thailand#Samut Prakarn#Bang Phli#Attraction Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai is located on the rim of Samrong canal in Bang Phli Yai Subdistrict which is 500 meters away from Bueng Tako. Formerly, it was known as Wat Phlapphla Chaichanasongkram , where is the establishment of large Buddha sculpture in the Sukhothai period, with a lap width of 3 cubits and 1 creep, made of bronze as the principal Buddha image withhin the chapel. It has been usually worshipped by the general people. Therefore, this temple is also called 'Wat Luang Pho To'. Every year, Bangphli villagers have placed the replica of Luang Pho To sculpture into the boat for The Lotus Throwing Festival on the 14th of the 11th lunar month.
Beside the temple, there is an ancient riverside market around 140 years old, which probably remains its original construction for tourists to walk around and buy some foods or stuffs.
